Here we present a fairly detailed profile of our art production capacity. We perform all of the functions involved in the creation, production, distribution and marketing of our products. We also take care of the firm’s PR and have organized many of the events we have participated in. We maintain close relations with top government, private and non-profit organizations.
Isabel Matiella, Artistic Jewelry. Capacities:
Jewelry design.
Although we generally produce all of our items (from sketch to completion), we also create designs for other brands. If that´s the case we can also offer advice on how to continue the process and taking the piece to best realization; following industry standards and choosing the finest materials.
Fabrication of pieces.
Even though we can replicate any particular jewel, in any number needed, most of our models are unique pieces.
We also have solid relationships with materials providers and specialized artists. So we can create pieces in practically any size and shape. We are rather eclectic in experimenting with materials. We can develop pieces made of the classics: gold, silver and diamonds. But we can also enter less conventional territories and use exotic rocks, textiles and metals.
Models are created on demand. Completion time depends on the specific characteristics of each project. We have been involved in projects that take a few weeks and others that take a year to be concluded. So please contact us with some time in advance if you are interested in any particular art piece.
Pricing is another important aspect to mention. Since most of the raw materials involved in jewelry creation are prone to fluctuate; the same item may have a different production value from one time of the year to the other.
PR and social responsibility.
Another important aspect to mention is Public Relations of the firm. Isabel Matiella’s founder and lead designer, Justina DeCima, is an active member of her community. She has participated in many projects, events and associations with the aim of improving society; from the governmental, private and non-profit arenas.
And due to those years of laudable work, she has built many strong relationships with different sectors of society. Hence the firm she represents has a strong voice within its community, and has been put to work for the greater good of its inhabitants.
Many of the collections created by Isabel Matiella have been donated to orphanages, schools and hospitals. And more often times than not, the exhibition events have been organized by the firm itself.
Lead Designer
Justina Isabel DeCima Azcona.
Justina is responsible for all the creations of the firm. She is very dynamic and likes to be in constant movement. That characteristic can be tracked in her style and her jewel designs. As part of her artistic evolution she has experimented with many materials, shapes and colors. In her beginnings native rock art caught her interest. But as she started to gain attention from clients outside that area, she jumped into more eclectic topics.
She has used nature motifs as well as geometrical figures. Organic patterns and smooth lines are also combined into very attractive pieces of work. And let’s not forget about the use of different rocks and textiles which make every piece unique.
Her art decisions oscillate within a broad range of elements. She uses a wide spectrum of colors to pick from. Yet she honors some sort of intuitive notion, and the final product always achieves aesthetical balance, regardless of how abstract the combination of materials, shapes and colors might be.
In her portfolio we can find the timeless classics –gold, silver and diamonds- as well as pieces that defy any classification.
Outside the realm of jewelry creation, Justina has an active role on many endeavors. An entrepreneur by nature, she has created several magazines, organized many events and directed diverse associations. She has performed non-profit and community work, like building spaces for art which later on will serve to stimulate local talent.
Justina holds a degree in Communication. Additional to her native language, spanish; she is fluent in english, french and has notions of Italian. Her passion for art emerged by itself, in an organic fashion, emulating her own path when she sets up to create art.
